New Store Build Project
The Blanchardstown Centre is Irelands one stop shop retail and leisure destination.
Project Timeline: 11 weeks from August 2023 to October 2023
In Summer 2023, our team relocated to Dublin Ireland for 11 weeks to complete a new store build for Lego in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.
This was a complete shop fit taking the retail unit from a shell and creating a modern looking Lego store with the new light and dark grey flooring tiles and the black ceiling with black LED lighting.
The existing shop front was re-purposed for this store but upon removal of the hoarding, it was discovered that there were circular scratches in the glass. We arranged for our team to attend to buff out these scratches and the client was pleased with the result.
A new HVAC system, sprinkler system and fire alarm system were installed and then tested and commissioned.
The front of the store required cladding to be installed in the style of Lego bricks. That was a difficult aspect due to the slight natural slope of the store.
Fixtures supplied by Lego were installed on the sales floor by our team. Some required electrical connections which were completed as needed.
A roller shutter was made and installed in the entrance portal for the store. This was powder coated in Lego’s required colour scheme.
Once the store build was completed, specialist cleans were completed so that the store was ready for the staff to prepare the stock ready for opening.
