Store Refresh Project
Bluewater is situated in Kent with 300 stores, over 50 bars, restaurants and cafes along with 13,000 parking spaces. It welcomes millions of visitors per annum.
Project Timeline: 14 nights in June 2024
Like with the Stratford store, we completed a store refresh solely at night and the store remained trading during the day throughout the project.
We co-ordinated with the Centre Management and put all the permits in place before completing these works.
Each night, protection materials were installed to protect all elements in the store before works were started.
Once the nights works were completed, the protection was removed, then the store was cleaned of any works residue.
One of the more difficult aspects of this refresh was the flooring replacement. Sections of the flooring were removed and replaced with new environmentally friendly flooring tiles in a new colour scheme over several nights. The sections of differing flooring were made safe each night so the store could trade as normal the next morning.
The large yellow brick ceiling feature was reduced and painted in black which gives the store a chic looking finish combined with the new flooring.
The white lighting was replaced with black by our qualified electricians to complete the new darker design.
Our team worked hard to ensure all the works were completed under the tight timescale we were given, and it was completed to our usual high standard.
